Why choose us
The difference is in the paperwork nobody else shows you
Beautiful events are the visible part. What makes them run is a budget you can audit, a vendor list with real quotes, and a schedule everyone has already agreed to. That is the work we do first.
About our companyDocumented planning
Every event is run from a written plan: budget tracker, vendor list, floor plan, load-in schedule and run of show.
Vendor relationships
We work with caterers, florists, AV teams and venues we have used before, and we share their quotes with you directly.
Realistic timelines
We build backwards from your event date so approvals, deposits and cut-offs never arrive as surprises.
On-site presence
We are there for load-in, guest arrival and strike — not just the planning phase.
Clear scope
You always know what is included, what is optional and what is billed by a third-party vendor.
Design consistency
Décor, lighting, stationery and staging are specified together so the room reads as one coherent design.
Our event categories
Eight categories, one standard of execution
Whether it is a boardroom breakfast or a 600-guest gala, the process and the level of documentation stay the same.

Frequently asked questions
Booking, payments, changes and support
If your question is not covered here, call or email us and we will answer directly.
Start by sending your event details through the contact form, by email, or by phone. We schedule a consultation to review your goals, guest count, venue, and budget, then send a written proposal. A booking is confirmed once the agreement is signed and the deposit is received.
For weddings and multi-day corporate programs we recommend six to twelve months. Smaller private events and corporate meetings can often be planned in four to eight weeks, subject to vendor and venue availability.
We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers through our payment processors. All charges appear under Jamar Event Planner. Invoices and receipts are issued by email for every payment.
Most engagements use a signed proposal with a deposit to reserve the date, one or more progress payments tied to vendor commitments, and a final balance due before the event date. The exact schedule is stated in your agreement.
Yes. Guest counts, timelines, and service selections can usually be adjusted up to the cut-off dates set by each vendor. Changes are documented in writing, and any cost difference is confirmed before it is applied.
Cancellation terms depend on how close the event is and which vendor commitments have already been paid. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy page explains the tiers in detail, including what portion of a deposit is refundable.
Yes. Our published packages are starting points. Larger corporate programs, luxury weddings, and multi-day events are always quoted individually based on scope, headcount, and production requirements.
A lead coordinator and support staff are on site to manage vendor arrivals, the run of show, and any adjustments needed during the event. You receive a direct contact number for the event day.
Yes. We are based in Philadelphia and regularly plan events in surrounding states. Travel and lodging, when required, are quoted transparently as a separate line item.
